My fascination with hummers started when I was paralyzed from the waist down at 10 years old. I would sit in my wheelchair, pray, look out the window, and study the art of the beautiful hummingbirds darting across the flowers bushes.
After being slowly healed and starting to pray with others who were paralyzed, I realized that studying hummers was something we shared during our time of weakness.
